Unsatisfied Symbols linking 4gl modules

Since upgrading to HPUX 10.20 and Informix 4GL 4.20.UC2 we are getting unsatisfied symbol "_fgstr_len (code)" when compiling and linking 4GL programs. We are linking our libraries and are using c4gl to compile. We have contacted Informix Tech Support and they haven't been able to help as of yet. We use two very similar databases and this problem only occurs in one of them. Thanks, stephanie connolly

Sure that is not I4GL 7.20, 4.20 is several years out-of-date. Anyway, this kind of problem is almost always caused by using a library that was compiled with an earlier, or at least different, version of the c4gl compiler. Recompile EVERYTHING in the library and see what happens. Art S. Kagel
