Informix jdbc drivers cache files

Hi, I'm having a problem with some ifxbmain_* files generated wile extracting images from a java application and converting they to * .gif in the file system. It seems that the jdbc driver creates many files to cache the operations with binary field but it doesn't delete those file once the program finishes. Is there a way to tell the driver to delete those files? Thanks for your help. Dago
