LVARCHAR portable?

Hello all, On previous occasions we've used html & blob filed types without success when needing to transport them across different local databases. It keeps saying "not supported yet". Typical code: insert into order select * fromold_db@informix_on:order; Obviously the table order has a blob / html field type in its table structure. It works O.K on all tables that don't have those two types. Was wondering if LVARCHAR is easier to port than the html and blob fields?
