Christian, Aside from performance issues, successfull locking accross NSF is very dependant on the OS platform and it's NSF implementation. For the most part it doesn't work very efficiently nor very well. There is a solution however, Remote-ISAM. R-ISAM is a client server solution for C-ISAM files at the lowest level. Have a look at www.bytedesigns.com for additional info.
