RE: which informix product has these libraries?

Those libraries are part of Informix-Connect, or should be, but they are created as links to other libraries when the installconnect process is run. If you didn't run that script, then the libraries are missing - fix it by running the installation script. You can verify this by checking in etc/connfiles (or etc/connectfiles or whatever it is really called); the names should appear. There is, I suppose, a second possibility, which is that they only appear with the Informix-ESQL/C product, but I believe that would be a packaging error. Can anyone tell me which Informix product has these libraries?: $INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql/libixos.a $INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql/libixgen.a $INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql/libixgls.a $INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql/libixsql.a $INFORMIXDIR/lib/libixasf.a We are running Solaris 2.6 and using SE 7.24UC1. We already have Informix Connect runtime, but these libraries are not there. Denise
