I would have thought that the approach to take is to unload/convert the
.dbf file into a delimited file and then to load this into Informix
using a "load from 'filename' insert into tablename " SQL statement
or similar. If the .dbf layout is not what you need in Informix then
make up an Informix table that matches the structure of the .dbf file,
load into that, and later select it into other tables as required.
dbimport will only load stuff that has be dbexport'ed from an Informix
database...it doesn't work too good on alien databases!!! :->
