RE: $INFORMIXDIR permissions
Posted in 2007
in the sw archives is a script called ckfls which does this. You give it the name of the distro list from $INFORMIXDIR/etc (e.g. IIFfiles) and it goes through and checks every file in it, reports anything amiss. It's a bit old at this point, I'm actually working on an upgrade to it. Have a go with it and let me know of any issues you run into. cheers j. -----Original Message----- From: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:informix-list-bounces@iiug.org]On Behalf Of Mike Badar Sent: Friday, January 26, 2007 10:23 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: $INFORMIXDIR permissions Greetings, Is anyone aware of a script that will reset the permissions of $INFORMIXDIR, it's subdirectories and the "on*" utilities? For the "on*" utilities, I'm speaking of the SUID and GUID permissions. Thanks in advance for your help. Mike Badar ESRI 1 International Ct.
