I'm constantly amazed at clients who think they know more about their hardware or software than their suppliers. This often leads to mistakes and lost data. But hey, if that's okay with you, then go for it! ;-) I don't think you actually read past the first line of Peter's post. He was just pointing out his understanding of Informix mirroring, and why it gives HIM a warm fuzzy feeling...... in bed...., er, or something.
