IBM is selling two brands of hammers. As a DBA or developer my job is to choose the right tool for the job ... not to make some marketing dweeb his bonus check. If I want to cheer for something I'll find a football team. What I want IBM to do is stop moving the deck chairs and either provide a clear statement upon which decisions can be made or throw in the towel. It isn't about cheerleeding or mourning the dead. It is about having a mortgage to pay and children to put through college. -- Daniel A. Morgan http://www.psoug.org damorgan@x.washington.edu (replace x with u to respond)
