Hi Luis,
I take it you mean windows XP? And assuming your using BDL, not Genero? And
all is running on the one machine.
For the gui to connect check that your Wtk server is started. I think it
should start automatically with fglrun command but if it isn't you can
pre-start it with:
%fgldir%\\bin\\wtk.exe -f %fgldir%\\fgl2c\\doserv1.tcl
If it is already running check what port is being used by wtk against what
port is trying to be connected to (can change the wtk's port in wtksrv.ini
file (WTK_4GLSERVERPORT).
(there is a fourjs specific list - sign up for it at www.4js.com -> support
-> customer area from memory, if you have bdl licenses. )

Subject: FourJ'S
Hi all
I am using For J's Software under Windows XT for compiling and running my
4gl programs. All goes fine , but when i try to connect to GUI (set
fglgui=1), it responds:
"Can not connect to gui"
- Informix (Standard Engine) works fine (dbaccess and so on)
- Programs (42r) run well under alphanumeric windows (DOS style) but what
parameter have i to set to go to GUI?
Can somebody help me?
