CDR with WorkGroup server.

Hi, Here is the scenario. The client wants a centralized database server, with around 120 users geographically spread all over USA. The users are connected thru WAN( frame relay), with guaranteed 56 KBPS. The Application is going to be a 3 tier one, front end (Delphi), and middleware (Entera) and Informix database server. My concern is the response time. The client wants a response time of max 5 seconds for customer support folks which I seriously doubt. The application does not require a centralized database. I feel that each of the 120 office can have a local Informix server running, with CDR mechanism to the HQ database. This way the response time won't be a problem and yet folks at HQ can have access to all branch information. Questions: - 1. Does Workgroup server support CDR? Dynamic server for each office will be overkill. Most of the office can easily manage with Workgroup server, which is lot less expensive. 2. Is the feasible to have 120 servers replicating to one server? 3. In some case there may be a need of data from one of the branch office copied to all other branches. If not all branch, certainly some selected branches. Can this be done efficiently thru CDR? Please email me, as I will not be reading this newsgroup often. TIA. Ravi Krishna.
