However, I do not know if Perl is available for Windows NT. I say this b'coz I believe Informix Workgroup Server is for Win NT only. Begin quote from the FAQ ======================================================== 10.2 Is there a Perl interface to Informix? Bill Hails writes: There is now a perl interface to Informix SQL, available by anonymous ftp from ftp.demon.co.uk as pub/perl/db/isqlperl/isqlperl-1.2.shar.Z You'll need perl already installed, and you'll need Informix ESQL/C installed to build it also. This is not the notorious (and mythical) Infoperl, rather it's my reaction to finally discovering that Infoperl never existed. Nor is it DBperl compliant, so it will undoubtedly be supplanted by DBperl in the not too distant future. I've tested it on Informix 4.10 SE and Online. ======================================================== End quote from the FAQ The Informix FAQ is available from the following sources. http://www.iiug.org/techinfo/faq/faq_top.html <- Intl. Informix User Group Site ftp://kcbbs.gen.nz/pub/informix ftp://cssun.mathcs.emory.edu/pub/informix/faq If you want the FAQ via ftp as in last two cases the files to look for are informix.faq.Z and informix.apx.Z > Konstantin > -- > Dipl-Inf.
