Couple Gb, 10 users. My wife's lab database has 450,000 patient records, 5 million test records, lots of other stuff. Grows at 100,000 patients p.a. Runs on a SPARC 5/SunOS using SE 5.02. Total of 2 days downtime in 4 years; 1 motherboard fault and 1 day moving labs. That lab runs 10 hrs/day, 5-6 days/week. They'd kill you if you even *suggested* taking SE off of them. Upgrade to 7? No need. Maybe when she buys a new machine and I have time to muck around. OTOH, as Informix *never* sends her a maintenance agreement or wants to take her money, maybe not. Just thought I'd throw that in :-). Peter Wiley
