not able to start informix

Hi All,
I am having my backup team re-restore the raw logical volumes on the message I
posted yesterday in this forum.
However, I have another system that is moving from idaho to texas. The restore
for this looks better. Here is some info that might help you diagnose my issue.
Contents of /etc/services
$ grep 3801 /etc/servicessapinfPS1 3801/tcp #informix PS1
Contents of $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts.soc
platops1shm onipcshm plato sapinfPS1
platops1tcp onsoctcp platob sapinfPS1
I get the following messages when trying to start informix.
Thu Mar 6 07:27:04 2008
07:27:04 Event alarms enabled. ALARMPROG = '/informix/PS1/etc/no_log.sh'
07:27:13 DR: DRAUTO is 0 (Off)
07:27:13 listener-thread: err = -25572: oserr = 227: errstr = : Network driver
cannot bind a name to the port.
System error = 227.
07:27:13 Attempting to bring listener thread down.
07:27:13 Server stopped.

Change the valid service name for the shared memory connection above to
a dummy value. It need not be an actual service/port though it can be,
however, I've often seen problems when it is the same as a real
service/port used for another connection on the same machine (even for a
different server instance but certainly for the same instance it should
be different). The setting for soctcp below is fine, change sapinfPS1
above to something like sapinfSHMdummy

Are plato and platob aliases or separate interfaces for the same local
machine, or is that a typo?

What is INFORMIXSERVER set to when you start IDS ?
platops1tcp or platops1shm ?
Unless ist a typo it appears strange to me that tcp server has host set
to 'platob' ? What does oserr 227 mean (grep for it in errno.h files
under /usr/include )
It is almost certainly some sort of config issue.
