hello can anyone propose me a architecture, for 11.70 version please
Linux on Intel Xeon E5 or E7 processors works very well. Avoid Virtual Machines - bare iron only. Avoid RAID5. Avoid BTRFS - initial testing shows poor performance with Informix. Avoid any journaling filesystems or disable the journaling if possible (ie on EXT3/EXT4). Art Art S. Art this architecture is for production use ?
Yes. Others work well also. AIX/Power7 or Power 8, Solaris/Sparc (preferrably T5 or T6 processors - the earlier Niagra (T-class) processors were not suited to use for databases and other complex processes), HPUX/Itanium.
