Informix Monitoring Tool
Our company is looking for a good Informix DB GUI Monitoring tool. I know there is one ISA from Informix for this purpose but there are some security concerns related to it as It uses Apacahe Server for the purpose of access over the Internet. Are there any other 3rd party tools from Companies which work well with Infomrix...for GUI monitoring as well as resolving issues...also which can produce reprots as related to space usage, CPU Usage,I/O usage...etc... Check out ServerStudio Java Edition from AGS Ltd (www.serverstudio.com). It has added a "Sentinel server" monitoring feature. We don't use that part right now, but the other DBA abilities are quite good (editing sql, import/export, table reorgs, etc.). All GUI. Sean R. Venkatesh, One I use and we support is Server Studio, If you like, I can show you how that works when I am in you office in Kansas City in 2 weeks. Hello, There is DB-SuperVisor which allows to supervise any Informix IDS instance based on a client/server architecture. It allows to view the space usage, cpu usage, top 10 tables access, top 10 memory usage, ... It allows you to monitor in real-time the cpu usage, disk access, memory usage.
