INFORMIXSQLHOSTS would normally be the name of a file, not a system.
INFORMIXSERVER would be the name of the IDS server instance
(DBSERVERNAME or one of the DBSERVERALIASES in the ONCONFIG file).
The rules on Windows are a bit different - the registry is used for
some things (SETNET32). You may have to read the manual to save me
having to do so :-)
