Hi all,
It's my first time to configure a replicated machines. I'm using the same
machine specification (all hardware), same IDS 11.5, same all up to the
configuration. I also performed a backup using ontape -s -L 0 and ontape -r in
secondary.
on primary server, i performed
onmode -d primary secondaryserver
on secondary server, i performed "onmode -d secondary primaryserver.
I encountered the below message:

From the secondary server environment try connecting to the primary server
"ross1" (using dbaccess). This will give you some hint as to why secondary
server can't connect to the primary server.
In secondary server's SQLHOSTS ensure that you are using soctcp protocol
and host/port number of primary server is correct.

Your mistake was that you have to perform a physical restore (ontape -p) not
a full restore (ontape -r). Run the restore again with -p instead of -r.

Thanks Art et.al, I've reviewed some documentations from IBM and it looks like
the "ontape -r" causes the problem, it should be "ontape -p" for physical
restore.... I'll try it one more time.
Thanks again....
