Doubt you have enough RAM. NT is a RAM pig. 32 Mb is (IMO) barely enough to run the o/s, let alone a database server *and* local client. Been there, done that using Progress. I put in 64Mb for better results. Still not a patch on a unix o/s, though. Peter Wiley
