@@trancount and Prepare

Hi, Thanks to everybody for your patience and quick answers. They where very helpfull. 1) Can you tell me if there's something like SQL server @@trancount in Informix. Returns the number of active transactions for the current connection. 2) I have to execute this Statement Select Client_Name From Clients Where Client_Code in ( 345, 234, 654, 1) The values are variable, so they come in a variable: v_codes. The thing is that I can't execute: Select Client_Name From Clients Where Client_Code in ( v_codes ) I think I have to use the prepare statement, so is this correct ? Let mySql = 'Select Client_Name From Clients Where Client_Code in (' || v_codes || ');'; EXEC SQL prepare Strsql from mySql; EXEC SQL execute Strsql; I'm using IDS 9.30 / SPL / via ODBC.
