Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Has anybody used IDS on virtual Linux machines carved out of
mainframes? We're creating RedHat Linux 4/5 32-bit (or is that 31-
bit?) hosts on an IBM z9BC running z/VM 5.4 and will be loading IDS
10/11 on the newly hatched fledglings, but haven't found much
literature on the web about this configuration.
Does anyone have any insights into this combo? We'd certainly like to
avoid any show stopping obstacles.
