Today, Wingz is superceded by HyperScript Tools. I'll be brief, I haven't much time right now, but anyone asking about HyperScript deserves an answer, so I'll be happy to elaborate, if you care to mail me. If you think of Wingz as a ground breaking application written in a language designed for developing ground breaking applications, then you can see the relationship between Wingz and HyperScript. HyperScript is a powerfull language, with embedded ANSI SQL for client/server applications, obejct oriented front end design and a deceptively simple syntax for use by anyone from the self styled power user to a professional development team. HyperScript Tools is a rapid application development environment for HyperScript. HST includes screen building, an interactive, graphical debugger and a fairly comprehensive suite of utilites for deploying serious graphical applications for corporations. Combine HyperScript Tools with the other graphical tools for Informix and things start to happen; there's ViewPoint, a graphical form and report designer which understands complex databases, relational models and so on and delivers an easy and friendly interface to even the most illiterate end user yet ViewPoint doesn't stifle more competent developers. Enough from me for now, please get in touch with your local Informix person or give me a bell for more information. Regards Adam >Hi Informix users, > I've seen an old version of WingZ.
