Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Not a technical thread: an Informix user in Mexico posted an invitation to help form a local IIUG user group, offering a free Spanish-language onstat command handbook and future talks on DBA topics to anyone who contacted him. Replies were simply people in Mexico, Spain and Bolivia sending their contact details and expressing interest (one Madrid user mentioned a parallel Spanish user-group launch at IBM's offices), plus one off-topic joke post. No technical problem is raised and no resolution is recorded.
Auto-generated by DrWatson from the posts below — may be imperfect; read the full thread.
Hi
I am part of the people that are trying to create the local group in Mexico
and I want to contact the mexican registered users in the IIUG.
As a bonus I am offering completely free a handbook of onstat command guide in
spanish, and soon, I will offer free conferences about different topics of
database administration.
Please, send me your data and I will send you more detail.
My personal mail is julio.flores@isosa.com.mx
thank you

Travel broadens a person. You look as if you have been all over the world.
I went to the airport to check in and they asked what I did because I
looked like a terrorist. I said I was a comedian. They said, "Say
something funny then." I told them I had just graduated from flying
school.
