Solaris 9 IDS 9.40.FC5 should have no problems with the Daylight Savings change in March according to the info IBM has posted. We have not created any JAVA procedures nor have we installed any datablades. Any suggestions, concerns, insights, or hidden gotchas? I'm about to tell my manager that we have nothing to fear from the time change in March and no action is required. thx

You just have to make certain that you install the Solaris OS patch with the updated timezone database entries before March 11, 2007 and reboot by then. Last I heard Sun had not yet delivered the updated database patch, it was due this month. Art S. Kagel
