Are you certain that the contents of the Blob was a viewable TIF in the first place? Using the loc_t structure is the right way to go about it. But - you'll only get out of the database what was put in. A Blob could contain any kind of data - a JPG or some other image format, or even an executable. FWIW- Richard Woolfall Syntegra
