Hi, I've just come up against the same problem, or perhaps it is.... It's reared its ugly head in a tcl/tk utility of ours. I haven't had time to track it back through the code, but I think it may that the string passed to 'prepare' is what's causing the grief. We've got 5.0.3.uc1 on sunos.
