Informix and PB - security issue

To everyone, who works with Informix from PowerBuilder. We are running Informix 5.01 on DG machine. Using Informix's setnet utility we are able to define there modes of security: no password, password and ask password at run time. We would like to use third mode because we want to identify user at run time. The problem is Informix's login screen ( dialog box ) which appears if we chosen third mode. We use PowerBuilder as a development tool and want to resolve security issue in our application, not in *native* Informix. So the question is : how to avoid appearance of Informix login box but to allow user to connect and and login anyway ? We would really appreciate any help.
