If you want another way to access Informix, using JAVA but not using JDBC, you might want to look at JAM Web 2.0. Prolifics and JYACC are actually based in NYC, and I assume you're nearby, since you are with panix, so you could stop by for a demo. JAM does use native Informix drivers, on Win31, Unix, VMS, Stratus, etc, so you can skip your ODBC connections. JAM Web will generate HTML, JAVA-script, etc for you, plus you can add your own JAVA or modify the output of JAM. You can even use JDBC with JAM Web, but you don't need JDBC. Also, if you're based in NYC, you might want to go to a CyberSuds meeting. I'm sure someone there will be able to tell you about jdbc drivers for Informix. Good luck, Mark McNulty JYACC Consultant mmcnul@jyacc.com Note- these views are mine and not those of JP Morgan or JYACC.
