Linux libpam.so.0 install error

Hi, I've been trying to install informix 9.40 on Slackware linux, but I keep on getting this error: etc/brand: error while loading shared libraries: libpam.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Installation of Informix Dynamix Server failed. Do any of you know where I can download the libpam libraries. Thanks Trevor
