Any progress in INFORMIX <==> MS-Windows ?

At the time the general word was .. NO DICE .. Has anyone run across news (better yet had experience with) about the latest version of I-NET PC and/or any tools which allow access to a remote INFORMIX database via a standard set of Windows DLLs ? I really hope the folks at INFORMIX start getting the hint that this is a feature that we users REALLY want ! Almost all of the other major DB vendors have some sort of Windows access.
