Problems after AIX upgrade

Hi all... We have a client who has recently upgraded their RS6000 O/S to 03.02.0000 (with several patches to fix 64-port controller problems). IBM has already given then 4 additional general O/S patches, so we know there are problems, but the client hasn't applied them as of yet. Since their upgrade, our software has literally gone to you-know- where in a handbasket. To put it mildly, it appears as though our package is deteriorating before everyone's eyes. Now, I know that S/W doesn't just mysteriously atophy...but I need some help here. The clients users are regularly getting kicked out of the application with fatal errors, or core dumps, or sometimes getting thrown out to the system prompt with no error message. There doesn't seem to be any discernable pattern; everyone here is stumped. We recompiled the entire application after the O/S upgrade. Here are the facts: application is compiled on their system using 4GL version 4.00.UH1, running on S/E 4.00.UH1. They RUN their application on 4GL runtime 4.00.UH1, S/E 4.00.UH1, and they have SQL 4.00.UH1. As I indicated, we have recompiled after the upgrade, and the package worked fine before they upgraded O/S. Any ideas??? We're running out of clever ideas. - Corinne -- Corinne Gregory (corinne@dssmktg.uucp; bangpath - uunet.uu.net!dssmktg!corinne) Manager, Development & Support Data Systems Support Ph: 714.771.0454 Fax: 714.771.3028 Orange, CA
