DEFINE cEnvvar CHAR(10) LET cEnvvar =3D FGL_GETENV("INFORMIXSERVER") Now cEnvvar will contain the value of INFORMIXSERVER environment = variable. If this function does not exist in the version you have (though it = should be there in 4.11.UC4, I think) you can always write a C function = which uses getenv() and returns the value to 4GL.
