Problem in initialization of IDS.9.40.UC1

I have IDS9.40.UC1 on linux. I was trying to bring up the server using oninit command. The below is the output of oninit -v Checking group membership to determine server run modesucceeded Reading configuration file '/software/ids/etc/onconfig'...succeeded Creating /INFORMIXTMP/.infxdirs ... succeeded Creating infos file "/software/ids/etc/.infos.ol_insrvdb_becker01" ... "/software/ids/etc/.conf.ol_insrvdb_becker01" ... succeeded Writing to infos file ... succeeded Checking config parameters...succeeded Allocating and attaching to shared memory...succeeded Creating resident pool 3864 kbytes...succeeded Creating buffer pool 40002 kbytes...succeeded Initializing rhead structure...succeeded Initializing ASF ...succeeded Initializing Dictionary Cache and SPL Routine Cache...succeeded Bringing up ADM VP...succeeded Creating VP classes...succeeded Onlining 0 additional cpu vps...succeeded Onlining 10 IO vps...succeeded Initialization of Encryption...succeeded Forking main_loop thread...succeeded Initializing DR structures...succeeded Forking 1 'ipcshm' listener threads...succeeded Forking 1 'soctcp' listener threads...succeeded Starting tracing...succeeded Initializing 8 flushers...succeeded After this when i check the status using onstat - it is showing below: shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER 'ol_insrvdb_becker01' Please suggest to bring up the server. It looks like it thinks it's online. Is the INFORMIXSERVER correct? Is it in the sqlhosts file? Are the oninit processes still running? Art S.
