JDBC XA Connection with IDS 7.31

Hello, SLES 10 IDS 7.31 UD10 (I know its not supported anymore. We will upgrade to 11.7 this year) JDBC 3.70 JBoss 5.1.0.GA My Problem: I have a JDBC XA Connection to IDS 7.31UD10. In the Configuration File is implemented "Set lock mode to wait 10" and "set isolation to Committed Read retain update locks" With onstat g sql I can see that in the session "Lock Mode" is set to 10. If I try to lock a row that is locked by another user IDS comes back soon with SQL error..........: -243 ISAM/RSAM error....: -107 With onstat g sql I can see that in the session "Lock Mode" is change to "Not Wait". (We tried it with JDBC 3.5, JDBC 3.0 and JDBC 2.2.1 with the same behavior) Lock Mode changes automatically from Wait to Not Wait. Why?. Known Bug ? Workaround ? Hints ? With IDS 11.7 it works fine. SQL error..........: -243 ISAM/RSAM error....: -154after 10 seconds wait.
