Hi,
1. configure Oracle for ODBC
This includes defining a datasource and starting a listener.
I did it some time ago and don't remember all the details.
2. Configure the informix side:
example sqlhosts
----------------
# IDS
on940fc7 onipcshm sunny on940fc7
on940fc7tcp ontlitcp sunny 1801
# Gateway
idsgw ontlitcp sunny 1900
3. Configure the gateway side
- edit odbc.ini
- configure gateway and start the daemon as desribed in the user's guide
4. Connecting to Oracle from dbaccess:
SELECT * FROM oradsn@idsgw:"INFORMIX".oratable
where oradsn is the Oracle data source.
Please ask again if you consider problems. Especially executing stored
procedures is a little bit tricky.
