This presentation describes what IER is and what it can do. A technical description of how IER functions is provided including many tips and gotcha's not covered in the documentation. Finally, features of the next release of IER will be highlighted. The information is especially valuable if you are considering using IER or are interested in data replication. Year 2000 Impact for Informix Users This will be a panel discussion on the impact of the year 2000 on Informix database users. The Informix data type DATE stores all four digits of the year. However, some developers are concerned about their applications. We will review the different versions of Informix and availability of the new environment variable DBCENTURY.
