Passing variables to MS Word

Hi there. We are running Informix Dynamic 4Gl 2.1 and are trying to pass variables to MS word using DDEPeek/DDEPoke. I only have examples for Excel. Is it possible to do it with MS Word, and if so, how do I go about doing it ?? Any help will be appreciated.
