IBM Informix 10.00 FC5 + HDR Solaris 10 ==================================== Hello all.... I want to implement the utils2_ak.gz utility, reason why procedi to make the following thing: 1. Download the source from the IIUG web site -- utils2_ak.gz (Junio 01.06.07) 2. Unpack the source in a new directory 3. It is a gzipped shell archive: gzip -cd utils2_ak.gz | sh 4. Check the contents of Makefile y Modify the parameter: # CFLAGS=-O CFLAGS=-O -xarch=v9 EDFLAGS=-g -keep 5. $ c4gl -c dostats.ec c4gl[507]: cc: not found Desire to know if I am doing the correct thing and so that me this leaving that message error. Solaris is not delivered, by default, with a C compiler, you need to get your SAs to install the Development Suite or to install GNU C/C++ for you. Art S.
