It just created this file as an empty one. After hours of trying this and that (changing file and directory permissions, rebuilding the runner, recompiling 'other' modules that had to be linked to this program, etc, etc) I took another close look at my program definition on the "MODIFY PROGRAM" screen and found out that I accidentally had entered the same module twice. And that was what caused this error-message: after removing the second entry, it compiled just fine !! So if you get this message: do not start to look for files with wrong permissions, missing or empty ones, or whatever. Just reexamin your program definition and look for double entries. What I find strange however is that the RDS "MODIFY PROGRAM" screen allows you to enter the same module twice in the first place and that the RDS compiler does not come up with a more appropriate error-message when this happens. It cannot be that hard to make a program recognize a double entry in an input array and a compiler recognize an error like this one ??!! Thought I'd better post this for all of you who may run into the same error somewhere in the future. -- Marien de Clercq ___ Intergraph European Mfg. bv. /|/| // "Don't believe the hype Nijmegen - The Netherlands / | __// is a sequel" E-mail: clercqm@nijmeg.ingr.com / |/_/ \\___ Snap
