IDS 10.0FC5 on Solaris 10 and Sun Cluster 3.1. We've installed IDS on a Sun Cluster. It works really well, but one irritation is we haven't got the Informix agent to work. We've followed through the instructions in the IBM IDS High Availability and Sun Cluster 3.x document (written for IDS v9 but we are assured 10 is supported also) but still get on the penultimate line, although the database server is actually running happily: [root@londba:/] /usr/cluster/bin/scstat -g -- Resource Groups and Resources -- Group Name Resources ---------- --------- Resources: ids-harg londb ids-hasp ids-hars -- Resource Groups -- Group Name Node Name State ---------- --------- ----- Group: ids-harg londba Online Group: ids-harg londbb Offline -- Resources -- Resource Name Node Name State Status Message ------------- --------- ----- -------------- Resource: londb londba Online Online - LogicalHostname online. Resource: londb londbb Offline Offline - LogicalHostname offline. Resource: ids-hasp londba Online Online Resource: ids-hasp londbb Offline Offline Resource: ids-hars londba Online Unknown - Contact your DBA Resource: ids-hars londbb Offline Offline (the message "Contact your DBA" being particularly galling!) Obviously it's difficult to diagnose the problem remotely but are there any known "Gotchas" in this area? Thanks Neil

Sorted. One of my colleagues fixed it: the (v9) scripts uspplied by IBM
look for onstat - output starting "Informix Dynamic Server". In v10 it says
"IBM Informix Dynamic Server". Obviously this was beyond my scripting
skills to fix.
