Simple editor...

We run an Informix app on a UNIX box. One of the options when we print our reports allows the user to edit the file, but the only editor that we can rely on is "vi" - not the easiest editor for users :) Does anyone know where we can get the source for a public domain editor, nothing complicated, just nice and easy.
