If by '7.4' you mean the next release of 7.3, then yes. But it was never going to be 7.4 but 9.2. because the next release is a combination of 7.3 and 9.14. But you are also right when you say marketing on (a) rampage. They have now sunk as low as the Microsoft marketing dept. Or maybe that is a good thing? IDS.2000, and it's cousin Foundation.2000, are the long awaited merger of IDS 7.31 and IDS/UDO 9.14 into a single unified server with all of IDS 7.31's OLTP features and performance and all of UDO 9.14's Object Relational features including user defined functions and DataBlades. Foundation.2000 adds the WEB DataBlade, mostly, and some other software to help use the engine with WEB applications and servers. Art S. Kagel
