Re: ODS 6.00 vs IDS 7.30 - COUNT(*) incompatible?

Hi Zandy! I just adding TFields to TQuery component in design-time. In this case Delphi evaluates Field type in design-time and save this info into .dfm file. This approach is different to creating dynamic query. But I've found the problem! The reason is that due to the large table support Informix has changed the output type of the COUNT(*) value from long to double. But in your example of course it should work, because you don't creating fields definitions in design-time. Anyway, thank you for your message. -- Ivan Lyakhovenko, project manager, xTech Ltd.
