Hi Informix friends, yesterday I installed IDS.2000 on SuSE 6.3 for testing. Great: It worked nearly immediately with cooked chunks. Remote connection is ok, too. Luckily I have read the thread about cpio and the comment from Tim Schaefer: [... the documentation for the informix install is wrong. As you may or may not know, yesterday the solution came from a guy in Informix Dublin. The correct options are: cpio -ivdumB < filename ...] Regards, Reinhard
