Re: onpladm load job with spec file (includes simple but lengthy test case)
Posted in 2003
First of all, in my copy and paste of the test case, I doubled the
"END SEQUENCE" for the map. D'oh, as it were.
Richard Kofler copied my entire message before asking for the error I
am still getting and the output of various onpladm list and describe
commands.
$onpladm create object -F specfilename
Successfully created object DEVICEARRAY device_array_name
Successfully created object DELIMITEDFORMAT formatname
Successfully created object LOADMAP mapname
Syntax error in interface file line :56
Create object LOADJOB failed!
Invalid format!
Note, line 56 is the 'PROJECT projectname' line. If there truly is a
syntax error, I suspect it is in the 'BEGIN OBJECT LOADJOB jobname'
line which precedes it.
Though lengthy, the output from the list and describe commands is
below.
As for using one specification file, it should not matter. In any
case, I have split it up with no change but the line number in the
error.
By the by, I get an error when listing defaults. Could that be
related?
