Migration v5.0 to v7.10

Has anyone got any advice for migrating data from Online v5.0 AIX to Online v7.1 AIX 4.1? My plan is to dbexport data to disk from v5, then ftp across the network to the other machine and then dbimport into v7.1. Alternatively I was thinking of selecting data across the network from one Online instance to the other. The application uses rowids in v5.0 so I will need to get hold of the rowid work around for v7.1.
