re: RUN ace reports

Really simplitic answer, but perhaps this is a really new user? You cannot sacego (with or without -q) a .ace file. First you must saceprep filename.ace to create a .arc file. Then you sacego filename with or without the optional .arc. To do this you need the development copy of SQL. Feel free to correct me if needed. ps: I am not sure what the original write meant by "RUN" a .ace file. Is there a RUN command in something? Perhaps thats why some responders pointed to 4gl? Ann
