changing data structures

I am using Informix ODS v 7.22 with Metacube as the interface to end users. I get an error message that says "changing data structure forced command termination" when I submit an onstat -g ses command ... but only if someone is on Metacube at the time. If there is no Metacube user the onstat command works fine. Anyone out there knows why I get this message and what to do to get around it? Thanks, Carl. P.S. Tech support cannot produce this message
