revoking permissions

Hi-
I have some database and table level permissions which need cleaning up.
In other words, I have to revoke a ton of users.
Rather than write a long sql script to revoke database and table
level permissions explicitly, I was thinking about updating the sysusers
and systabauth tables.
To revoke database level permissions:
delete from sysusers
where username <> "informix";
To revoke table level permissions:
delete from systabauth
where grantee <> "informix"
and tabid >99;
I have tried it out on a few test databases, but I want to know if
anyone sees any problems in doing it this way.
Thanks for any info that you might have.
Brian
