Yes, we have seen this with IUS 9.14 and the Webdatablade. Except in our
case it would keep allocating until the server ran out of shared memory.
In a web datablade page an MISQL statement tries to select from a table and
gets back too many results for the webdatablade to handle. We would see
behavior similar to this.
Another strange side effect when this would happen, is we would run
onstat -g seg and inspect the shared memory segments that were allocated andon each of the ones that were created within seconds the blkused was only 5
and blkfree was always very large. Until we rooted out the problem (the
MISQL was too ambitious) we would run onmode -F to free these segments that
were just created.
Does anyone know if this is an informix bug? and if there is a fix?
